Blu-ray box set release of horror drama ‘AKB Horror Night Adrenaline no Yoru’, which ran from October 7, 2015 to March 16, 2016.
41 AKB48 group members starred in the drama, which also served as an acting audition in which viewers voted for their favorite actresses. The winner landed a lead role in TV Asahi’s 2016 fall drama series “Keishichou Nasi Goreng ka”.
There were a total of 21 episodes broadcast on TV Asahi and 20 episodes available for streaming on Video Pass/Hulu.
There were also two specials. The first tracked the intermediate voting results. The second showed highlights from all 40 episodes and announced the winner of the audition.
